Chorley Building Society made a profit after tax of £573,334 as against a profit of £647,188
the previous year. This was after a provision of £79,517 for the fscs levy. Provisions for other bad and doubtful debts
were £63,810 (2010 £68,585). There were 16 cases at the year end of mortgages that were 12 months or more
in arrears with the total amount of the arrears £138,000. There were no properties in possession at the year end. The
society still retains a £2,000,000 exposure to Landsbanki a failed Icelandic Bank. The debt has been fully provided
for and they do not anticipate any recovery of this amount this year.

loan to value of the mortgage book was less than 39%. One property was in possession at the year end. Share balances grew 2.00% during the year.
