31.01.2011 Kent Reliance Building Society (the Society) announces the transfer (the Transfer) of the whole of the Society’s business, assets and liabilities to OneSavings Plc (the Bank), which will take place on 1 February 2011 (the Effective Date). The Society will cease to exist from the Effective Date. In addition, the Bank is in the course of changing its name to OneSavings Bank Plc, which is expected to take place on the Effective Date.

Kent Reliance Building Society offers savings accounts including, children's accounts, fixed rate savings accounts, tax free accounts, affinity savings accounts, and pensioners savings accounts. The mortgages on offer include standard variable rate mortgages, 3,5,10 and 25 year fixed mortgages, shared ownership and buy to let mortgages. Kent Reliance Building Society can also offer buildings and contents insurance, mortgage payment protection insurance and life insurance.Kent Reliance do not offer car insurance or travel insurance.

The Kent Reliance Building Society made a profit for the year after tax of £8,937,000. This included impairment losses and provision for the fscs levy of £5,158,000.
management expense ratio was 0.41 which if not the lowest is certainly one of the best in the building society sector.
Share balances grew by 6% during the year and 3,425 advances and loans were made to borrowers amounting to £534 million.
At the end of the year there were 25 possession cases and 28 cases where the  repayments were 12 months or more in arrears.
