Stroud and Swindon Building Society made a loss after tax for the year of £4,306,00 an increase in the previous years loss of £2,749,000. This was after a provision of £1,530,000 for the contribution they must make to the fscs levy over the next 3 years.
At the end of the year the average loan to value across  the mortgage book was 45%.

Management expenses as a % ot mean total assets fell to 0.64% from 0.68%.
