Today Tesco compare has expanded so that you can now compare car insurance, home insurance, life insurance, van insurance, motorbike insurance and business insurance or compare credit cards, mortgages, loans and energy comparison services. Tesco compare is part of Tesco Personal Finance and is the rapidly expanding financial arm of tesco's and has over 5.5 million customer accounts over 28 financial products and services. They are the second largest pet insurer with 660,000 pet insurance policies and over 1.1 million car insurance policies. Tescocompare.com in 2008 came top for the second time in a survey by Defaqto on car insurance comparison sites in May 2008.
