doing insurance in 1967. AA Insurance is the UK's largest motor insurance company. In
1999 the AA was bought by Centrica who then sold it in 2004 for £1.75 billion to CVC and Permira who are private equity
firms.

credit cards. The AA is covered under the fscs through Birmingham
Midshires/Bank of Scotland for savings products so the limit of £85,000 is for the combined total of deposits
invested with these organisations.
